It may happen that a person has male and female genitals when a protein does not work properly. This sexual change called Swyer syndrome is related to the functioning of the SRY protein. If the protein is transformed, they have detected that the fetal gonada has problems of penetration in the cell nucleus and that it cannot influence the genes to form the male genitals.
