Navarre and Rioja, immersed in development

The Center for Technological Development of Spanish Industry (CEA) has pointed out that in 1998 the regions that have invested the most money in Research and Development in the Spanish State have been Navarra and La Rioja. Catalonia and the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, traditional industrial regions, have been in 3rd and 4th place.

The Navarros and Riojan entrepreneurs are very aware of the need for technological development of the industry and the Development and Internationalization Plans have been developed in both regions with good results. The CEA believes that in the future a development axis will be created around the Ebro valley that will reach from the CAPV to Catalonia.
