Man's brain is damaged three times faster than woman's. Professor Ruben Gur of the University of Pennsylvania has been able to measure brain recoil through images obtained from nuclear magnetic resonance imaging. In men the left hemisphere is the one that deteriorates above all and in women the damage is more spread throughout the brain. This difference may be due to hormonal regulation.
