In the world more than anywhere else are species of animals and plants considered missing in Madagascar. Recently, Dominique Halleux, an entity belonging to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), has discovered in Andapa as Andapa (northeast of Madagascar) a white mushroom called Tyto soumagnei. This type of owl was last seen in 1930 and was considered lost forever from this world.

The white owl has been in a small cage for a year and is about to be released in the southern forest of Anjanaharibe. There they expect other specimens. However, in Madagascar no one knew Tyto soumagnei the white owl.
