To read, the old neural network
01/01/2011 | Elhuyar

Man uses a special neural network to read. In fact, it began to be read about 5,000 years ago, but some experts say that 5,000 years are insufficient for reading to change the brain; evolution is slower. Therefore, according to these experts, man uses an already evolved neuronal network to read and, before starting to read, he is researching what that neuronal network was. The answer given by the French neurologist Stanislas Dbigene is that this neural network took care of speech when it arose. In addition, Dgken claims that reading must compete with other activities to use this neural network. However, the latter is still to be investigated.
