Oliver Sacks was a master who combined science and literature. He died at age 82 from cancer. In fact, last February he announced in an article published in The New York Times that he had a deadly liver cancer. In him he expressed what he felt before life and death, as “privileged” for having the opportunity to be a sensitive and intelligent being.

He was a great neuroscientist, but above all he was known for books based on the experiences of himself and the patients. He has two books translated into Basque, a man who mixed his wife with his hat and an Anthropologist on Mars, and his latest work is an autobiography, On the move.
