Yesterday, 20 years after the launch of the first PC.

IBM 5150 was the first ‘personal computer’ (Personal Computer, PC) and was released on August 12, 1981. This model carried the Intel 8088 processor at 4.77 Mhz. At that time there were also faster processors, but the initial goal was not speed, but besides playing, it also served to work from home. The initial machine was one million pesetas.

The IBM 5150 computer used the operating system PC-DOS 1.0 developed by the small company Microsoft, and from then on began the competition to impose the software ‘compatible’.
