Pride of scientists?

Physicist Ernest Rutherford also had no doubts: "all science is physical or philately". Rutherford had no science other than eye physics. Somehow, physics was the most scientific science. The most beautiful of all. The real. And fate prepared an ironic revenge.
Rutherford was tall and robust, and a fine rugby player, despite his awkward appearance. His voice, on the other hand, seemed like thunder and had a very demanding look. It wouldn’t have been easy to fight him…
He worked a lot in physics and has been said on several occasions that he was the father of nuclear physics. It was not surprising, therefore, that in 1908 he was awarded the Nobel Prize… but they did give him the chemistry one! And Rutherford doesn't like it. He was the first to artificially transform one element into another, but as the scientist himself expressed with a point of anger: "I have changed many times in my life, but never like now, suddenly metamorphosed from physical to chemical!"
Surely more than one of the members of the Nobel Prize jury was frightened by Rutherford's deep voice and rigorous gaze. You never had to hear it was chemical.
