2003/10/01 Elhuyar Zientzia

There is no concrete date, but it seems that in the next three months, in October, the rumors of the media, will launch the first Chinese spacecraft that will carry the human being. The Beijing Wen Wei Po newspaper has announced that China already has a team of 14 astronauts able to travel in the Shenzhou IV Space Park. This team is also at the base of Jiquan, where the launch will take place. The Shenzhou launches began in 1992, but so far they have not carried passengers, they have been driven from Earth. If the effort goes well, China will be the third country to place man in space after the former Soviet Union and the United States.
