Many dogs from Frankfurt wear shoes on the streets of the city. The cause is the pollution caused by the accident suffered by Hoechst, the largest chemical manufacturer in Germany, two weeks ago. More than a hundred tons of chemical compounds were spilled over many houses in the Griesheim neighbourhood, in Frankfurt, and an uncontrolled and polluting chemical compound spread on earth. The name of this compound is ortonitroanisol and is used in dyeing. Apparently, the escape was a broken valve.

Hoechst says they do not know the long-term toxicity of chemical compounds. However, millions of frames are currently being spent on the cleaning of buildings and floors. Among other things, the company has distributed three types of shoes for dogs living in contaminated land to protect the feet from contaminated soil.
