Teknoskopioa 2007 oa 2007 Ideas Has winners

VI Basque Science, Technology and Innovation. This morning the Teknoskopioa 2007 awards ceremony was held at the Elhuyar Foundation headquarters. Being the theme of the Science Week of Information and Communication Technologies, the ideas competition proposed to students of Baccalaureate and Vocational Training the realization of a blog, having presented a total of 33 papers. Finally, a group of students of 2nd Baccalaureate of the Nazareth College of San Sebastian has won the competition with the blog Technologies applied to sport.

The names of the winners are: Víctor Barrero, Rebeca Burgera, Ion García and Iván Sánchez. The jury has not hesitated to award their blog, as the authors have gone beyond what their title says. In addition, the jury praised the remarkable social vision of the blog. For the work done, the winners have received an Mp4 with the sponsorship of the Eroski Foundation and a selection of gifts and have made a guided visit to the KutxaEspacio de la Ciencia.

The
second classified have been Boris Dos Ramos, Ander López, Eli Gutiérrez and Ugaitz Vadillo of the DBH4 of the Ikastola Urumea of Hernani for his blog Electroshocka. The third position was for the students of 2nd Baccalaureate of the Polytechnic Institute Jesús Obrero of Vitoria, Héctor Calderón and David Pozos, by the blog Motores. The second and third classified have been given a lot of gifts that have also visited the KutxaEspacio de la Ciencia.

The organizers and sponsors of the competition have also participated in the awards ceremony.

The winners have been accompanied by their classmates, who have been the real protagonists of the awards ceremony. In addition, Itziar Nogeras (general director of the Elhuyar Foundation), Txema Hernández (content director of the Social Work of KutxaEspacio de la Ciencia - Kutxa) and Teresa Santos of the Department of Education of the Basque Government participated. All of them have highlighted the quality of the work presented and the effort made by young people.
