Participations in the promotion of STEM

There are many ways or ways to promote STEM. From school it is necessary to improve the system and train teachers on STEAM, offering training sessions, among others. In addition, vocational guidance will be needed to increase girls' STEM motivation and foster collaboration between families, friends and faculty. For example, counselors can collaborate on school and family initiatives.
In addition, a scientific identity must be built among the girls. That is, breaking prejudices and explaining that science is for all people. To do this we must offer experiences, after-school activities, visits to laboratories and/or museums, trips, activities to work with new computers and technologies, etc. These types of activities help to better understand scientific concepts. All of them should avoid male hierarchies and create a calm and safe environment, especially among girls.
Finally, political decisions will also influence the promotion of STEM. For example, the measures taken, the number of scholarships to be distributed, the messages to be disseminated, etc., should be taken into account.
