We present the beautiful image sent from the International Space Station (ISS). Astronauts may already be used to observing the Earth at night, but these types of photographs usually draw the attention of others. In it appears Egypt, and as for the illumination, we can observe that almost all the population nuclei of the State are concentrated around the river Nile.
In this photograph taken on October 28 to the southeast of the Mediterranean, we can see Nile and its delta as a very long stem flower; the brightest point of the image, base of the flower, corresponds to the metropolitan area of Cairo. By night, the lights help us to see smaller areas, infrastructures or roads, something that we would hardly get in the light of day.
The second area with more brightness is the eastern coast of the Mediterranean, belonging to the Israeli district of Tel Aviv, and the eastern one, Amman, Jordan.
