Recycling of agricultural plastics

In Spain 235,000 tons of plastic are used in agriculture, 28% of the total European Union. Once the life cycle is finished, all these plastics become waste and 18 organizations from 7 European countries have launched a group project for their proper management. In collaboration with Gaiker-IK4, Cicloplast and Inserplasa, he is a partner of Spain in this project.

The project, called Labelagriwaste, aims to increase current recycling levels and the valorization of these waste by developing and implementing a methodology for collecting, sampling, analyzing and labeling waste.
