Looking at the bottom of the sea

Biologists find many unknown species when looking at the bottom of the sea. An example of this is the project Census of Marine Zooplankton. Twenty-eight marine biologists from the United States embarked on the capture of a zooplankton five kilometers deep. Accordingly, about 500 species were collected, analyzed and classified. The analysis was done, among other things, with a portable DNA reader. Thus, they could know on board whether each species was known or not.
In the image are some of the species that collected: a) a tiny anemone; b) a Hippopopopopopodius shaped like a bell; c) a fish of the new genus Idiacanthus; d) a jelly Pegantha; e) a tenoforo; and f) a tunic.
