Maintenance missions for the Hubble Telescope will cease due to NASA's change of strategy. Therefore, the telescope, which was a major change in astronomy, will degrade and not be useful within 3 or 4 years. According to President Bush's plans, NASA's goal will be to carry out missions to the Moon and Mars, where all resources will be used.
