Women are especially vulnerable to AIDS infection through vaginal sex. Researchers have studied the attack of the AIDS virus, HIV, to vaginal cells and have shown that it attacks two cells of the immune system: CD4+T to cells and Langerhans.

With this knowledge, women are expected to perform effective AIDS microbicides. And it is that getting a good microbicide would be a great advance, but with those who have developed so far have not had any results.
