The GAIKER technology center leads in Spain the virtual network AWARENET created by the European Environment Agency. Technology center with extensive experience in recycling and waste reuse projects generated by the agri-food industry.

The meat, fish and milk industries generate residues rich in organic substances and their proper management is very necessary to keep rivers clean. Therefore, the European Environment Agency has created the virtual network AWARENET to facilitate relations and collaborations between companies, research centers, etc. working in the agrifood sector.
