Sleeping in space

1986/08/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

Sleeping in space is not very comfortable and pleasant. The astronaut suffers the impression of falling. So say at least those who have been up there.

The ESA has invented a sleeping bag that will somehow eliminate this feeling of collapse, the European Space Agency. Some of the tubes surrounding the sac stretch the tissue when it is inflated and exert uniform pressure on the astronaut's body.

Whatever his sleeping position, the astronaut perceives the impression of sleeping on Earth...

Sleep well.
