A team of American researchers has prepared a plastic material very similar to that of boli, both in contact and in structure. It is increasingly less in the world of ivory and the capture of boli is prohibited to protect elephants or rhinoceroses.
Experts have tested with closed eyes and have often preferred the new polymer.
