In some skeletons of about 14.500 years ago, remains of human violence have been found. One of these skeletons has a half-moon projectile in a thoracic vertebra and others have cracks in the skull and other bones of the body.

These skeletons were in a museum since 1931 and belong to the civilization of the Natufians. The Natufians lived in a current environment of Israeli lands, in relatively fixed villages, about 14,500 years ago. Experts believe that the first clashes took place when they began to live in a fixed place.
