Trip intestine intestine

Some fresh water insects travel thousands of kilometers in the intestine of migratory birds. The bird can swallow the insect eggs together with the mud, fly to another well and expel them in the feces.

The collaboration between the Doñana Biology Station and the Institute of Ecology of the Netherlands has shown what has so far been suspected. More than 400 excrements have been bred abandoned by a group of birds, and in two out of three eggs of aquatic fleas and flycatcher statoblasts have been found, as well as more fragile aqueous wrinkles.
