Two-legged robledales

1988/02/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

In the surroundings of the port of Iso, which connects Illumberri with Ochagavía, is one of the most beautiful places in Euskal Herria. It is the Foz de Arbaiun. The cut excavated on the mountain for eleven thousand years by the river Salazar has a great beauty, in which the wildlife is abundant and varied. The care of an environment of these characteristics is undoubtedly totally rational. Therefore, the Foz de Arbaiun was formerly known as the Hunting Refuge and the Nature Reserve of last year.

Unfortunately, this legal protection does not seem sufficient to remain in full Arbaiun. This is demonstrated, at least, by the disastrous discovery we made when we went there last January. Inside the foz we find five empty cartridges near the Illumberri spring. The image is collected there. Is there a better sign of the inhumanity of those two wild legacies that are considered hunters and that are endowed with shotguns?

If we don't look at nature, our country's progress sessions will be the cough in the middle of the night of the goat.
