Basque Research to reward new researchers

The Basque Research portal of the Elhuyar Foundation has completed one year in June. To commemorate this anniversary and publicize the work of our new researchers, we have organized a thesis contest. Doctoral theses submitted between 2001 and 2004, related to studies related to science and technology, will be admitted in the thesis competition.

In the thesis contest each researcher must send a summary of his thesis to the web, which will have a maximum extension of 3,000 characters, being able to attach an image. These extracts can be sent in Basque, Spanish, English or French.

The summaries of the theses will be collected until 15 September and later, on 17 September, all will be shown on the Basque Research portal. From that moment until October 19 the votes of the visitors will be collected and the most voted thesis will be the winner of the contest. The name of the winner will be announced on
21 October and he will win 6 days of stay in Tenerife for two people.
