Premiere of the documentary on the flysch of Zumaia

Today the Flysch, Haitizen Hitza, Dr. Asier Hilario and Dr. Alberto J are premiering at the Kursaal Donostiarra. Basque documentary directed by the filmmaker Gorritiberea. The documentary explains precisely but simply the importance of flysch to investigate the evolution of Earth's history and biodiversity. In short, the outcrop of Zumaia, from the geological point of view, is one of the most valuable natural spaces we have in Euskal Herria, a wealth that the documentary has brought to the images.

25 world experts in various branches of the natural sciences have participated in this documentary on the flysch of Zumaia. Some of them are: Bruce Runnego, former director of the astrobiology section of NASA; Anil Markandya, environmental economist of the IPCC organization; Adolfo Eraso, expert in glaciers, who is still working on arctic and antarctic lands for more than 70 years; and Jan Smit, one of the theories developed on the disappearance of dinosaurs as a result of a meteorite. In the magazine Elhuyar Zientzia eta Teknologia we also had the opportunity to meet Jan Smit in the July issue.

The premiere will take place at 8 pm. In addition, from March will be available in the Planetarium of kutxaSpace for all visitors. And ETB and TVE will also offer it in the coming months.
