Anticorrosive steel butts

Collisions could be a solution to avoid corrosion of structural steels. To reach this conclusion, a group of Chinese researchers dissolve common chuchiquines in a weak dilution of hydrochloric acid. Subsequently, it applied the liquid obtained to a type of steel, the N80, used in the pipelines.

The researchers have clarified that this substance extracted from the butts increases the resistance of steel to corrosion by 95%. Specifically, nine chemical substances (including nicotine) that can act on the anticorrosive effect have been detected.

The discovery of Chinese researchers can be of great use in the creation of more sustainable pipelines and, in some way, in the attainment of a “planet without mutxikis”. An average of 4.5 trillion butts “hit” the earth year after year. Indi Samarajiva
