Extracurricular scientific activities have a positive effect on young people. For example, exits to fairs, museums, mountains… are beneficial for scientific literacy. Family activities also influence. That is, when young people participate together with their friends in scientific and technological activities, they see that they are also interested and show greater interest in these issues.

Practical experiences and activities tend to better understand concepts. In addition, they are access to current materials and tools that allow young people to see that science is everywhere in their daily lives.

Finally, in such experiences they often have the opportunity to meet with professional STEM, which helps break stereotypes, especially girls.
