In view of the results obtained with the mice, it is estimated that the stem cells can be obtained in the future gametes (eggs and sperm), even in humans. Researchers at Sheffield University in the UK have explained that human stem cell germ cells are formed in the laboratory. From now on we will have to investigate how to achieve an ideal means to transform germ cells into eggs and sperm.
