Fewer Iberian lynxes than expected

The Iberian lynx has been in danger of extinction for years, but after last year's count, the situation seems critical. With less than two hundred specimens, only thirty are fertile females. If drastic measures are not taken, they appear to disappear in a decade. According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, habitat protection and the restoration of the adjacent population are two of these measures.
