October will tell us what weather will do in winter

After this 'sad' summer, people have been waiting for a sunny atmosphere for autumn and winter. Many forecasts are heard, but meteorologists insist that long-term forecasting cannot be done, at least reliably. But that doesn't mean they don't look for models to make those predictions. And one of those models is on the road to success.

This is an example of American climatologists, called sCast, who base the snow that expels in October in Siberia to predict the weather it will do in winter in the northern hemisphere. To know if the model is correct, they have tested with data from previous years (until 1972). And he has made direct predictions.

The key is in the October snowfall in Siberia, according to the authors of the sCast. For example, if it expels more snow than normal, in January the Earth's stratosphere is usually warmer than normal, which causes a warmer atmosphere at high latitudes, while the middle latitudes are attributed a cooler than normal environment.
