Transparent mouse transparent

A team of researchers at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan has made the embryo of a mouse transparent. The embryo has been introduced in the Sca/e solution, that is, in a solution of water, glycerin and soap. This solution has removed pigments from all cells of the brain and has turned tissues into transparent. Therefore, researchers have the opportunity to observe exhaustively in the brain of these mice neurons marked with fluorescent proteins at the deepest depth of history, as well as know their communication mechanisms, characteristics, etc.
