    Blood pressure under the brain
Blood pressure under the brain
01/06/2007 | Elhuyar
High blood pressure may be due to several factors. Scientists at Bristol University add to their list of agents a brain protein JAM-1. They do not have very clear what exactly does the protein to increase blood pressure. Apparently, the JAM-1 protein binds to the white blood cells of the blood and makes blood circulation difficult for the brain. This can cause inflammation and a lower oxygen arrival to the brain. Scientists believe that all this raises blood pressure.
