Researchers at the University of Michigan have managed to increase the network of blood vessels in live mice. An implant has been used to release the growth enzymes needed to form blood vessels.

Novelty is of great importance as all tissues of living beings need bleeding. However, because the enzymes needed for the formation of blood vessels must be released in a specific sequence, time and place, attempts made so far have been sterile, as it is impossible to obtain them by injections or needles. However, thanks to the special implant they have tested on the mouse, these enzymes are released as occurs in nature. Thus, they managed to cure mice with diabetes.
