Bumpy lives in deep waters of California, a kind of jellyfish recently discovered by biologists. No wonder this name has been given, because it means 'comfortable' in English, and because the animal has its whole body full of congruents.

Bumpy is very rare, with clear differences with jellyfish known so far. For example, instead of being tentacles, it has arms shaped limbs and uses them to help introduce food into the mouth.

Experts believe that to classify this jellyfish they must create a new subfamily. And since Bumpy cannot be considered a scientific name, biologists have also called him Stellamedusa window.
