In the atrium of the tunnel of La Mancha, the cat, dogs, foxes, overnight stays, rats and other rodents are especially careful not to penetrate. The reason is that rabies on the French coast does not extend to the United Kingdom.

According to a recent report published by the World Health Organization (WHO), the company "Eurotunnel", which is building the La Mancha tunnel, has promised the British authorities that anger will not pass through the tunnel.

Drastic measures have now been taken in this field, and studies conducted by French and British veterinarians, among others.

These measures will continue until the official opening of the tunnel, that is, until 1993. From there, the protection of the tunnel will be made available to special equipment made up of electrical appliances.
