The Japanese launch a new colorful pocket television: Citizen Bookvision 05-TA. This has some advantages over other pocket televisions: a magnetoscope can be associated, that is, it can be used as a control monitor of what is being recorded.

In addition, Bookvision can be used as a color viewer associated with a video camera (note that the usual electronic viewers are made of wood).

And of course, he also works as a television receiver. This 10 cm screen television has a cost of 40,000 pesetas in the United States.

However, the proliferation of Japanese pocket televisions does not mean that sales are large. The truth is that until now the fair of these miniaturized televisions is limited, since they are designed exclusively for the American NTSC system and the Japanese system. There are no pals or secam. Therefore, the sales that can be made in Europe are as little as gold.
