Carbon nanotubes in computers

In the integrated circuits, NASA has proposed to replace copper threads with carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotubes have the capacity to transport large currents – one million amps per square centimeter – and, in addition, the deep pathways to introduce the copper threads into the silicon olatas are not necessary.

On the other hand, copper resistance increases as its size decreases, but according to researchers, this does not occur with carbon nanotubes.
