The winning photo of the Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 has been removed for failing to comply with the competition. The photo wolf, which can be seen in the Flash of our magazine of December, is the Ossian wolf of the zoo of Madrid, according to the judges of the contest.

Several experts have asked him to compare the winning photo wolf with the photos of Ossian and no one has doubted: it is the same wolf. However, photographer José Luis Rodríguez presented him as a savage in the contest. Rodríguez continues to say that the wolf is wild, but the judges, in addition to withdrawing the prize, have forbidden him to return to participate in the contest.
