Russian authorities send a boat to the White Sea to collect seals trapped in the cubes and take them to the Barents Sea. The seals in the area live in the Barents Sea and head to the White Sea for breeding.
After breeding, both adults and newborns are put in ice cubes and, pushed by the wind, return to their usual residence. However, this year the wind has not taken the usual direction and the northeast wind has left hundreds of thousands of seals trapped in the White Sea cubes. According to experts, almost 200,000 newborns are trapped in the Barents. If they do not go out fast, it will end hunger, since in the White Sea there are very few foods.
