There are no satellites like the Moon in the entire solar system. In any other satellite planetary pair the size difference is much greater than in the case of Earth and Moon. The origin was the clash of the two bodies, which resulted in a planet and a satellite moving away from each other. The Moon, therefore, gradually escapes us.
