Lately they have seen the brown bear in Canada several times, about a thousand kilometers north of the polar circle. Some of the collected hairs have been confirmed with a DNA test that what had been seen there was a brown bear. And it's been a surprise, as it's an area far north than the usual brown bear territories. It is the land of the polar bear. According to biologists, if these two species of bears are found in the same territory, they may cross, as this happened once in a zoo.
