Recorded calls for terrestrial birds

In order to attract the singing birds to the new cabi, ecologists have tried a new strategy: they have used songs of recorded adults. This strategy has been very successful with coastal birds for a long time, but they, living in large colonies, do not behave like singing birds. However, it seems that this program has also been successful with these birds.

The
experiment was conducted by ecologists from the University of Illinois who have worked with Vireo atricapillus. Scientists have eliminated this year's recordings placed last year and yet birds have returned to the places studied last year.
