The nebula of this famous image taken by the Hubble Telescope has recently been revised. Photo of the eagle nebula, obtained in 1995. After first analyzing it, astronomers became a giant space where stars are formed.

But now scientists have looked at the nebula through the Nicmos infrared camera and concluded that the previous interpretation was not correct. In the infrared image it can be observed that only at the ends of the nebula young stars are forming, since in the columns of smoke there is not enough material for it.

Matter disappears with the nebula, caused by a group of nearby stars O. These stars participated in a time in the development of the nebula, but are now slowly being destroyed.

Astronomers, with the Chandra telescope, want to study the image of X-rays, a technique with which you can probably see what is in these large columns.
