Not Sahara, this is a little further

Although it seems incredible to some, these dunes are not from Earth, but from Mars. The image was taken by NASA's Opportunity vehicle, which circulated through the Endurance crater. The landscape appears with real colors and the height of the bands is less than one meter.
Scientists intend to send the vehicle to these dunes. In fact, the dunes are the typical structure of the surface of Mars and want to know its characteristics, since it is believed that those of others will be similar. However, they have to see before if the ground is robust enough for the vehicle to circulate, otherwise there is a high risk of accident.
