In industrialized countries, 10% of the population over 65 years of age is affected by dementia. For example, in these countries, 8 million people suffer from the well-known Alzheimer's disease. It can be diagnosed thanks to a new product called CERETEC. This radioactive molecule is safe for the body and is fixed in brain cells for several hours after being injected into the patient.

Images of the brain can then be taken through the scanner or EMN and viewed brain morphology, brain function. This technique, in addition to diagnosing different types of dementia, can help detect possible cerebral vascular problems
