dBASE IV; dBASE II, dBASE III and dBASE III PLUS, comes as a continuation or continuation of the databases most used in the PC environment and has been designed to operate under OS/2 and MS-DOS operating systems.

Ashton-Tate/Microsoft dBASE IV and SQL SERVER combine the capacity of minicomputers with the ability to use expert workstations.

At the same time, Ashton-Tate has announced the intention of launching a new utility (Step I Vward), the utility of converting the applications developed in Clipper, FoxBase and Quicksilver to dBASE IV/SQL only with small modifications.

Step I Vward is an independent application directed through the menu and that allows to obtain executable programs in dBASE IV/SQL of the source programs made in the applications mentioned above, so that they can be used by users of the database dBASE IV.
