The American Heart Association has published in its journal a new treatment against infarction.
This treatment would be used to remove the blood coacles in the heart and does not require surgery. Only two drugs: on the one hand a thrombolytic medicine that dissolves the blood coacles and on the other a platelet blocker. The latter, also known as superaspirin, prevents the accumulation of platelets from the clot.
In this way, patients at risk of having a heart attack should not be intervened. One study tested two drugs with 888 people with heart disease, obtaining very good results.
