Excess sun is harmful to health. We knew that ultraviolet rays eventually generated skin tumors, but now we know they also cause cataracts. Cataracts are because the lens opaque and half of all the blinds in the world are.

The researchers of the French Inserm have studied 2,500 people over 60 years of age and have concluded that the probability that people living in sunny places will be triple cataracts. The main point is the cumulative toxicity of solar rays. That's why the solution would be to protect yourself from the sun's rays as a child, or wear good quality sunglasses or long visors on your eyes.

High intensity artificial luminaires can be assimilated to solar rays to produce cataracts, as is the case with welding stations.
