An hour in solar boilers allows the indoor temperature to rise a lot, up to about 95°C in the seats. This is a serious problem in some territories (especially in the south and summer), and to mitigate it, researchers at the Paris Mining School have taken advantage of thermal convections inside the car and optical characteristics of materials. The systems used make the temperature inside the car just increase above 40ºC. Thus, the energy consumption of air conditioning systems also decreases considerably. Do not forget that air conditioning greatly increases consumption.
