Trees covered with spiders

These Pakistani trees, full of spiders, are the unexpected result of the floods that hit these lands in 2010.

To escape the floods, millions of spiders took refuge in the trees rising. Since then these trees have been wrapped in spider nets. In addition, it seems that this strange phenomenon benefits the local population. In fact, mosquitoes are trapped in these spider nets, which reduces their number and reduces the risk of malaria.
